NAWEL HAMIDI
Ms. Nawel Hamidi is lawyer specializing in constitutional law, public law and religious law. She has a master degree in Muslim Law at University of Ottawa, and is currently finishing a PhD in the sociology of rights at the University of Essex, UK. Her research focuses on the concept of the juridical personality in Islam, Canadian and comparative constitutional law, theology, inter-religious dialogue, religions of the world.
Ms. Hamidi is currently the Legal Consel for the Innu Essipit First Nations, Quebec. She was previously practicing in the field of civil and commercial litigation for a private firm.
